■Product Overview

Large-scale thermal and hydroelectric generators, owing to their substantial ground capacitance, require a very high test capacity during AC withstand voltage testing. When employing a variable-frequency resonant system for such tests, the demands on the variable-frequency power supply are extremely stringent; at present, most domestic testing facilities rely on resonant transformers to conduct these trials. , However, resonant transformers are inherently very heavy—often weighing several tons—making on-site testing quite inconvenient. In response to this challenge, our company has designed and manufactured a specialized inductance‑tuning generator‑based AC withstand voltage resonant boost system. This series of equipment employs a parallel configuration of multiple reactor sections; by adjusting the inductance of the tunable reactor and paralleling fixed reactors of varying numbers, it achieves resonance. The specific configuration is selected according to the required test capacity. , Reasonably configure fixed and adjustable reactors of different ratings. , Thereby minimizing the power supply capacity and the size and weight of the test equipment.

When performing AC withstand voltage tests on generators of the same voltage level and capacity, the overall equipment weight is significantly reduced; the weight of each individual unit is only a fraction of that of conventional equipment. 1/5, Completely resolve the issue of on-site handling difficulties.

The entire system features a state-of-the-art operating principle and incorporates an advanced casting process. The complete setup adopts a dry‑type design and employs precision‑machined transmission components, significantly reducing operational noise.

Equipped with a dry-type columnar voltage regulator, it delivers excellent output waveform and superior stability. ;

The excitation transformer features dual high- and low-voltage outputs; when equipped with a rectifier silicon stack, it can also perform DC withstand voltage tests on the generator.

The inductance values of both fixed and adjustable reactors are optimally configured, ensuring favorable resonance points for test specimens with varying capacitances and eliminating any resonance dead zones.

The operating system not only enables adjustment of voltage and inductance but also provides real-time monitoring of the circuit’s power factor, high‑voltage side current, high‑voltage test voltage, low‑voltage output, and air‑gap lift; it further incorporates overcurrent and overvoltage protection.
