Functionality

The device employs a modular design: each unit independently samples the three-phase currents of capacitive equipment or simultaneously acquires the three-phase voltages of the busbar, while also measuring the magnitude and phase of the 220 V utility power supply to provide the control unit with reference data for computation. Each online monitoring unit for capacitive equipment is equipped with CAN or RS‑485 communication capabilities, and the units are interconnected via a bus network.

The specific functions are as follows:

  1. The leakage current and reference voltage of the capacitive device are acquired, and the leakage current, capacitive current, capacitance, and dielectric loss are calculated.

2. Acquire the PT unit bus voltage and the reference voltage, and calculate the fundamental component as well as the 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th harmonic components of the bus voltage.

3. CAN or 485 network communication

4. Real-Time Clock: Each device is equipped with a real-time clock function.

5. IEC 61850 communication.
