Product Details

Product Overview

The integrated unit tester is designed in accordance with the technical specifications outlined in DL/T 624-2010, “Technical Requirements for Microprocessor-Based Relay Protection Test Equipment,” and, leveraging the IEC 61850 communication standard, it is a relay protection testing device implemented using advanced computer technology.

The product is equipped with a high‑performance power amplifier and built on a robust PowerPC+X86 platform. Featuring a modular design, it boasts powerful functionality, high precision, compact dimensions, and lightweight construction. It can test the functions and performance of merging units, relay protection devices, measurement and control devices, and intelligent terminals, making it suitable for power plants, substations, various research institutions, and equipment manufacturers.

■ Product Features

  1. Intelligent Testing Module

Supports intelligent test template editing, allowing users to add test items at any point during the testing process and save them as reusable test project files, thereby improving testing efficiency in subsequent routine inspections and troubleshooting phases.

  1. Automated testing

It features localized protection and digital protection automatic testing capabilities, enabling all test items for a single protection device to be completed with a single click.

  1. Digital/Analog Output

It can test the merging units, protection devices, measurement and control units, and intelligent terminals of digital substations, as well as simulate and test protection devices, generator-transformer sets, and other equipment.

  1. Simultaneous output of analog and digital signals

Supports simultaneous output of analog signals, SV, and FT3, as well as the transmission and reception of GOOSE messages.

  1. Multiple scanning modes

It supports testing of amplitude, phase, frequency, impedance, vectors, sequence components, and power, either manually or automatically, and also enables automated tests with stepwise, slip‑rate, or composite variation modes.

  1. Security and Alarm

It features over‑temperature and overcurrent protection; the current source provides open‑circuit protection and an open‑circuit alarm, while the voltage source offers overload and short‑circuit protection.

  1. Graphical display of virtual terminals

Supports graphical visualization of virtual terminals, ensuring clear and intuitive data flow.

  1. Simultaneous transmission and reception of messages

Supports IEC 61850‑9‑1, IEC 61850‑9‑2, and GOOSE optical digital message output. GOOSE signals can be transmitted and received independently, or shared with IEC 61850‑9‑2 over a single optical Ethernet interface.

  1. FT3/Extended FT3

Supports FT3, FT3 extension, and DL/T 282 message output, and also supports UART encoding at baud rates of 2M/4M/6M/8M/10M/15M/20M, as well as Manchester encoding at 5M/10M/20M.

  1. Exception Testing

It features simulated message‑anomaly capabilities, enabling tests for quality‑related anomalies, transmission‑rate jitter, latency irregularities, packet loss, synchronization drift, sequence‑number jumps, maintenance mode, and spurious state changes.

  1. Fault Playback

Supports fault simulation and COMTRADE‑format data replay.

  1. MMS service

It features MMS-based setting read/write functionality, enabling the reading and writing of configuration information such as settings for intelligent IED devices.

  1. Timekeeping and Time Synchronization

It features synchronous triggering, supports direct connection to GPS/BD antennas for time synchronization, and also accommodates IRIG‑B, PPS, and IEEE 1588 PTP time‑synchronization protocols; it can further output IRIG‑B, PPS, and IEEE 1588 PTP timing signals.

  1. Hardwired input and output contacts

The input channels are active‑ and passive‑type adaptive contacts, automatically detecting the input type and voltage; the channels are electrically isolated from one another, and reverse polarity connections trigger an alarm.

  1. Message Reception and Analysis

It features packet reception and analysis capabilities, allowing received packets to be opened with NPA for inspection or exported.

  1. Single-fiber mode

The optical port supports single-fiber transmission and single-fiber reception, and it also supports optical power testing.

  1. Analog small signal

Equipped with analog small-signal interfaces, it supports 12 channels of analog small-signal inputs, capable of measuring AC voltages from –7 V to +7 V; it also supports 12 channels of analog small-signal outputs, able to deliver AC voltages from –7 V to +7 V.

  1. Touch operation

Equipped with a 10.4-inch high-resolution display that supports touch operation;

  1. Wireless connection

It offers 4G remote testing capabilities and is equipped with a Wi‑Fi module for user convenience.
