It functions as an equivalent device during system‑level functional tests of relay protection and automatic control equipment that include switching operations. With accurate and reliable operation and an unlimited number of actuations, it significantly enhances the precision and completeness of tests, minimizes the number of actual circuit breaker operations, and extends its service life. This simulator can be integrated with relay protection test sets or operated independently. In particular, when newly commissioned substations or power plants have high‑voltage circuit breakers that have not yet been properly adjusted or do not yet have DC power applied, using this simulator for relay protection testing eliminates external influences, thereby shortening commissioning time and improving testing efficiency. For manufacturers and research institutions, employing this device yields even greater productivity.   3. Closing and opening operation voltage: DC 40–250 V, adjustable.
  4. Closing and opening times: adjustable between 10 ms and 1000 ms, with an accuracy of no more than ±5 ms.
  5. Closing and opening currents (coil resistance): ∞Ω, 880Ω, 440Ω, 220Ω, 110Ω, 44Ω
  6. Manual closing and opening: Operated by pressing the “Manual Close” and “Manual Open” buttons on the touch screen.

At this time, no current flows through the trip and close coils of the circuit breaker simulator.

  1. Output node: Contact rating: DC 220 V / 0.5 A, AC 220 V / 5 A.
  2. Trip and close pulse output: Provides three sets of 500-millisecond digital output contacts.
  3. The closing and opening currents are 0 A, 0.25 A, 0.5 A, 1 A, 2 A, and 5 A, respectively; when the trip‑close pulse is 110 V, the corresponding closing and tripping currents are 0 A, 0.125 A, 0.25 A, 0.5 A, 1 A, and 2.5 A, respectively.
