The inductance tester features a simple and practical sorting function. Its parameter settings are straightforward and easy to implement, and the results are displayed clearly, meeting the needs of purchasing inspection at user facilities as well as rapid sorting and measurement on inductance production lines. This tester employs a bridge‑circuit architecture, with a reference inductor and the device under test serving as the two arms of the bridge. During inductance measurement, the test voltage is simultaneously applied to both the reference and the device under test; the processor then acquires the current signals flowing through each via sensors, processes these signals, and calculates the inductance value of the device under test. By utilizing synchronous sampling of the reference and device under test, the instrument is immune to fluctuations in supply voltage. Moreover, since the entire measurement process is fully automated, it eliminates errors introduced by manual operation, resulting in excellent stability, high repeatability, and reliable accuracy.

Connection procedure: Connect one end of the voltage cable to the voltage output terminal; insert the test current signal cable into the current input connector, and connect the power cord of the capacitance bridge. Clamp the test voltage cable onto the busbar connecting the two terminals of the capacitor bank under test, and position the clamp meter around the bushing of the individual capacitor to be measured. Note: Be sure to thread the red lead of the voltage output through the front of the clamp meter before connecting it to the bushing of the individual capacitor (or reactor) being measured; reversing the connection will result in inaccurate measurements.

Functional features: Measures the capacitance of individual capacitors or entire capacitor banks in parallel and series configurations without disconnecting the wiring. Measures the inductance of reactors and wave traps without disconnecting the wiring. Measures the input capacitance of transformers, generators, and other equipment without disconnecting the wiring. Includes a function for measuring the resistance value of shunt (discharge) resistors, thereby compensating for the low output voltage of conventional capacitance meters that can lead to reduced fault detection rates. Simultaneously displays voltage and current waveforms and phase relationships, and calculates the power loss of the measured capacitor.
