Cable Tracer and Fault Locator It is the latest-generation, dedicated cable fault locator meticulously designed and developed by our company specifically to address the characteristics of “power cable faults.” It primarily addresses short circuits, open circuits, and ground‑fault issues in directly buried underground cables. Its key features include high receiving sensitivity, strong anti‑interference capability, stable signals, clear path tracing, and precise pinpointing! The instrument features a built-in power supply, a compact footprint, and lightweight design for easy portability, enabling single‑operator use. It is particularly well suited for field applications, as it is unaffected by cable‑laying conditions such as paved surfaces, conduit installation, or branching points, thereby greatly enhancing user convenience, boosting operational efficiency, and reducing labor intensity.
This instrument operates on the principle of electromagnetic induction and requires no step-up transformer, thereby ensuring the safety of cables, electrical equipment, and testing personnel. Simultaneous testing of the cable route, fault location, and burial depth is also performed.
