Product Description

  1. Overview of the Self-Acting Device

In the process of power generation and supply, to ensure the reliability of power delivery, power systems often employ two or more independent power sources and incorporate appropriate backup arrangements among them. When the primary power source loses voltage, the standby source is automatically switched in by an automatic device, thereby maintaining continuous power supply. Such an automatic device is known as an Automatic Transfer Switch for Standby Power, commonly abbreviated as ATS. BZT ). The automatic transfer switch for standby power can effectively enhance power supply reliability; moreover, it features a simple implementation and low cost, making it widely used in power plants, substations, and distribution networks.

However, while automatic transfer switches offer convenience, they can also introduce certain challenges. According to statistical data, power outages caused by maloperation or failure to operate of the automatic transfer switch itself still account for a significant share of all outage incidents in the power system.

■ Technical Features

This tester can simulate 6 Tai circuit breaker (DL) ,2 Taiwan transformer, 6 Taiwan voltage transformer, 2 The status of current transformers and the logical relationships among them. It can simulate the primary wiring of substations and power supply systems under various operating modes, visually display the electrical and position signals of lines and switches provided by automatic transfer switchgear in different modes, and emulate abnormal conditions under various operating scenarios, such as: PT Line break, line power outage, main transformer or line fault, switch tripping by manual operation. / Such as unauthorized tripping, etc.; it can simulate overcurrent faults or overload‑induced load shedding at sectionalizing switches following backup auto‑reclosing; while simulating these faults, it can also automatically detect and record the operating sequence and relevant data of the automatic transfer device, providing a basis for the equipment’s long-term operation and maintenance.
