■ Product Overview
The fully automatic capacitor–inductor tester is an essential device for achieving reactive power balance in power systems. The widespread deployment of complete reactive power compensation units in distribution networks ensures real-time active‑and‑reactive power balance. Such compensation equipment must meet the requirements of automatic tracking and real-time compensation, which inevitably entails frequent switching of capacitor banks on and off. These switching operations generate overcurrent and overvoltage surges, potentially leading to capacitor failure. To ensure equipment reliability, detect capacitor defects early, and prevent fault escalation, regular testing is indispensable. The capacitor–inductor tester is specifically designed for measuring capacitors and reactors in reactive power compensation systems. Employing advanced measurement principles and four‑terminal measurement techniques, it accurately measures grouped shunt capacitors as well as various types of reactors.
